College Church in Northampton MA is seeking a part-time Worship Arts Director.
The Worship Arts Director will work with the Senior Pastor and Worship Arts Team to create a consistent culture for our Sunday morning services. This individual will leverage the gifts and strengths of the congregation in order to maximize joyful participation and resonate with the wider culture. The Worship Arts Director will lead collaboratively and be intentional about investing in and equipping others for ministry.
Cultivate an intimate and growing relationship with Jesus
Work with the Senior Pastor to plan and lead weekly services
Shepherd and equip a diverse team of musicians
Love the congregation and lead them with excellence, authenticity, humility and integrity
Oversee and resource “worship nights,” “refresh services” and other worship gatherings outside of Sunday mornings
Provide expertise and feedback to our AV Team
Coordinate between the AV Team, Worship Arts Team and Staff
Be present at least 46 Sundays per year (this can be pro-rated from your start date) and delegate leadership in your absence
Attend weekly Staff Meetings (currently Wednesdays, 11am) whenever possible
Meet regularly with the Senior Pastor for mentoring and oversight
Contribute your skills, gifts and passions to the mission of God at College Church as you have time and opportunity

Gifted by God with musical talent for vocal and instrumental performance and arrangement, I especially enjoy being used by God in the area of Worship. Whether through the piano, keyboard, flute, guitar, Russian folk instruments or choir conducting for children and adults, I love to be in God’s presence and to help lead others there through Worship. Having been involved with ministry to adults, youth and children, I also believe they have a strong role in the worship experience and I want to help mold current and future worshipers.
