What is contributing to churches that are growing in Boston? How do we invite our neighbors, colleagues, and friends into the good news found in Jesus?
If you’ve ever considered these questions, please join us for a community discussion on effective and loving practices for sharing the gospel in our communities. The goal is to share our experiences, explore existing evangelism models, and consider together how to both share the good news and accompany people on a life-long discipleship journey of following Jesus.
The first community dinner will meet on Sunday April 22nd from 6:30 to 8:30pm in Dorchester. At this first dinner, we will hear from a few people who are engaged in the Discovery Bible Study model of evangelism. We will eat together, learn and discuss, and then pray together.
The dinner is free to attend and people from all Christian backgrounds are welcome to attend. We are planning to serve a Mediterranean-style dinner, with pita, hummus and salad. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with any dietary preferences, and Kelly will send you the specific address where the community dinner will be taking place.
There will also be another community forum on evangelism on Sunday May 20th – Pentecost! We look forward to hearing your voice in these important discussions.
