The Grassroots Ecumenism Summit

Do you want to be renewed in your commitment to Christian unity? Are you looking for new strategies to build Christian unity in your local community? Join us online for this inspirational and educational gathering. At this unique two-hour meeting you will hear powerful stories of individuals whose lives have been changed by the call to Christian unity and you will learn models for building Christian unity from a variety of leaders at the grassroots.

Confirmed speakers:

Rev. Kelly Fassett is an ordained Baptist minister and the Executive Director of UniteBoston, a bridge-building movement of Christians in Boston seeking the flourishing of the city.

John Armstrong is the Founder of The Initiative and author of numerous books including Costly Love: The Way to True Unity for all the Followers of Jesus.

Scott Brill is the Executive Director of The Initiative and Regional Ministry Coordinator for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

Amy Cogdell is the Cofounder of Christ the Reconciler, a lay community of followers of Jesus–Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Messianic Jew.

Ryan Nunez is Lead Pastor of Palm Valley Church and author of The Great Challenge: Living a Love That Reconciles.

Karen Petersen Finch is the author of Grassroots Ecumenism: The Way of Local Christian Reunion and represents the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the Roman Catholic-Reformed Ecumenical Dialogue in the United States.

Rev. Steven Harmon is the author of Baptists, Catholics, and the Whole Church, and Co-Secretary of the Baptist-Catholic International Dialogue Joint Commission—Phase III.

Fr. Tom Ryan is the Director Emeritus of the Paulist Office for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations

Callan Slipper served as the Ecumenical Officer for the Church of England and is the author of Five Steps to Living Christian Unity.

Fr. Alexei Smith has been President of the Southern California Christian Forum since 2011.

Nathan Smith is the Director of Catholic-Evangelical Relations for the Glenmary Home Missioners.
Joseph Tosini is the founder of the Phoenix-based John 17 Movement and editor of the book John 17: The Heart of God.

John Yoon is the Pastor of Hyde Park Church (University Bible Fellowship) in Chicago, Illinois.
