ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Global Cinema Film Festival of Boston (GCFF) in partnership with WCF studios/films LLC is committed to bringing the best of global cinematography to Boston. Our unflinching mission is to give filmmakers an opportunity to spotlight stories that deserve global attention. Our 2020 program will showcase unconventional styles that speak to the evolution of the narrative and documentary form. Through the visual language of film, we will explore sensitive stories captured by unflinching lenses held by filmmakers with the audacity to inform, inspire and visually transport audiences to that sacred place called the cinema.

From the event organizer: “Our festival spotlights films about the human condition and human rights violations around the globe. Faith serves as a saving grace for many of the subjects explored in the films as they must come to terms with hardships of the hostile world. Through intimate stories of people of different backgrounds, we understand the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation in parts of the world still broken and affected by human rights violations.”

*Please be advised that physical passes can be picked up at the theater box office beginning on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM at the Studio Cinema, located at 376 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA 02478. Please be prepared to present your printed ticket or Eventbrite confirmation receipt to pick up ticket at theater box office.

$12 (INDIVIDUAL SCREENING TICKET)

*Admission to an individual screening block, to view more films, all guests must repurchase another ticket for the next show at the theater box office or purchase a GCFF VIP ALL ACCESS FESTIVAL PASS. Please be prepared to present your printed ticket or Eventbrite confirmation receipt to pick up ticket at theater box office.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On street parking is available around the Studio Cinema. Festival Customers are also welcome to park at the East Cambridge Savings Bank located across the street from the theater after bank operating hours. Festival or theater cannot be held responsible if your vehicle is towed. Public transportation is also avialable to and from the Studio Cinema.
