Church Planting Collaborative: Big Picture for Boston
July 20 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
On Saturday, July 20 at 10 AM, the Greater Boston Church Planting Collaborative will focus on the topic of “The big picture for needed church planting in much-growing Boston.”
Boston is expected to have 100,000 more inhabitants here in 12 years. How many need-to-be-planted churches will be needed, where, and what kinds should they be? Ralph Kee will give his thoughts, having been engaged in church planting in Boston/Cambridge since 1971 in various neighborhoods. Kelly Fassett, founder and leader of UniteBoston who will also lead our two hour gathering says “we need new, innovative ways of approaching the gospel and we need to work together”. Kelly is in her early 30s, and the vision and vigor, innovation and leadership of younger key leaders are much needed for God’s Kingdom-building in Boston. of which church planting and multiplication is part. Others may be sharing their thoughts, experiences, studies, suggestions about this too.
